Water and the Word: Exaltation

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the Lord,

call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations;

proclaim that his name is exalted.

(Isaiah 12:3-4)

This is a well from which

we all deserve to draw;

pristine, cool, crisp water

to quench our thirst,

wash us clean, and

support us in good health. The deeper my immersion

into the quest for greater access

to water that gives life,

the more I understand

this journey and its partnerships

to be the very proclamation

of exaltation that Isaiah envisioned. How have you found it to be?
