Water and the Word: Sharing Summit

On a metaphorical mountaintop,

together, 111 water saints

gathered to refresh

one another’s souls,

to practice the laying on of ears.

Stories ping like popcorn

in a fireside kettle,

narratives richly woven

from the four corners

of the LWW universe;

revealing a rich tapestry

of divine connections.

Briefly united and nourished,

then sent, two by two,

and by various other equations,

back to places called home,

as well as toward partners

deeply stitched

as sisters and brothers.

Thanks be to God

for the harmonies we shared,

and for the newsong

whose notes still ring in our hearts!
